Our Services

Foundation & Basement
Waterproofing

Permanent waterproofing solutions for New England basements — engineered to stop water at the source, not just manage it temporarily.

What We Offer

Complete Waterproofing Systems

Every solution is diagnosed first — we identify the source and implement the right fix, not the cheapest one.

Interior Drain Systems

Full perimeter drain channel installation at the footing level — capturing groundwater and hydrostatic pressure before it can enter your living space. We excavate the interior perimeter, install a properly sized channel with filter fabric, and restore the concrete floor to a clean finish.

Sump Pump Installation

Properly sized sump pumps installed in the optimal position, with battery backup systems so your basement stays dry through power outages — which often coincide with the heaviest rain events. We test every installation before we leave.

Exterior Waterproofing

Full excavation to the footing, surface preparation, and application of a high-quality waterproofing membrane — the most permanent solution available for foundation water intrusion. Drainage board and perforated pipe at the footing are installed before backfilling.

Crack Injection

Structural foundation crack repair using polyurethane or epoxy injection, selected based on whether the crack is active or static. We inject under pressure so the material fills the full depth of the crack — not just the visible surface face.

Vapor Barrier Systems

Reinforced polyethylene vapor barriers installed against walls and across floors, sealed at all seams and penetrations, to block moisture migration from the soil. Pairs with interior drainage for a complete dry basement system that addresses both liquid water and vapor.

Window Well Drains

Egress window well drainage systems installed to prevent well flooding during heavy rain — connected to your interior drain system or daylighted to grade. Includes proper well sizing and gravel fill to maximize drainage capacity and prevent sediment buildup.

Our Process

How It Works

From the first assessment to verified installation — here's exactly what to expect when you work with FXL.

01

Free Moisture Assessment

We inspect your basement and foundation for signs of water entry, hydrostatic pressure, and structural concerns — and explain exactly what we found before recommending anything.

02

Diagnosis & Recommendation

You receive a clear written scope identifying the source of your water problem and the right solution — not a generic pitch for the most expensive system available.

03

System Installation

Our crew installs the recommended waterproofing system correctly — excavating, draining, membraning, or injecting — using quality materials rated for the specific application.

04

Verification & Documentation

We verify the system is functioning before we leave and provide written documentation of what was installed — including warranty coverage and maintenance guidance.

Why Choose FXL

We Fix the Source, Not the Symptom

Permanent waterproofing requires diagnosing the actual failure — not just applying a coating and hoping for the best.

01

Permanent Solutions

We install systems designed to last — not paint-on coatings that peel. Every solution is backed by a written warranty.

02

Diagnosis First

We identify where the water is actually entering before recommending a fix. No upselling solutions you don't need.

03

Integrated Approach

Waterproofing pairs with our basement finishing and foundation work — one crew handles the full scope, start to finish.
